Named in part by the small triangular shape on the thorax, this small gass beetle is exclusively found in patches of sedge grass. Sedge grass is known for its triangular shpae.
• This piece has a few 'champagne' bubbles that leaked from the legs — they should be easily identifiable in the last few photos.
• Polished face and sides, frosted bottom and back.
• The brushed brass support is uncoated will patina.
• You could clean the brass with brass cleaner, but be sure to keep that off of the cast insect. • The cast insect is susceptible to fingerprints and may have slight surface imperfections. The cast piece can be cleaned with a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth.
