This body of work began at my previous home and studio in San Diego, CA and continued across the country, through 2.5 months at a temporary home, then finishing at my new home in northern Georgia! In addition to representing a physical transition, the new-to-me natural world here in Georgia is making its impression on my work with the use of more organic, floral additions.
The custom mounting brackets are a new design iteration of my first (v1.0) bracket design. Another iteration will replace these in the future -- consider this hardware a limited design.
All pieces are pressure-cast urethane resin to reduce (if not eliminate) most all air bubbles within the cast. The mounting brackets for cast pieces were designed, assembled and finished by Lex Talkington (bracket cutting and tapping was outsourced).
